"Legends of These Lands Left to Live" is Ali Beletic's long-anticipated debut record, written and recorded during her time spent in the raw American landscape of the Sonoran Desert, after having left the art/punk scene and saturation of Brooklyn to explore concepts of transformation, personal rebellion, and that which exists out on the boundaries of our humanity. Filled with mysterious and emotional songs, Legends is the anthem of that journey, tracing rock n' roll's ancient history off road through personal incantations of vanguardism, and telling her vogue rebel stories from the artist streets of New York and the vast Southwest.

About Ali Beletic

"She is best known for her work as an installation artist. She creates symbolic art stunts as expansive as setting up mahogany and glass Judd-like sculptural pools in remote deserts, throwing parties with drummers hidden throughout the backcountry, and illuminating an entire boulder field you can hike through. Needless to say, she has an eye for provocative imagery, and apparently her senses are fluid because she has an ear for the provocative as well. The sense of roaming, exploration, and wanderlust in her visual components transfer to her music. " - Stereogum

Her artwork includes creating and hosting large scale experiential installations, Vanguard Parties, media and print stories, Earth Art Ceremonies and Environments as well as traditional gallery shows - all intending to create evocative experiences for the modern art community to have access to rock n roll, ancient emotions, latent instincts and 360 degree sensual experiences. She recently finished recording a full length record, Legends of These Lands Left to Live, coming out on Lightning Records in June 17, 2016 and created several large-scale sculptural works and environments for the Sonoran Desert of southern Arizona and the Mojave Desert of southern California. She is currently working on a new series of Environments for the Pacific Ocean. Her work has been featured by several Los Angeles and New York Galleries including Tappan Collective, the Soho House, JTHAR, Boxo Projects, Human Gallery New York, The Painting Center (New York), as well as a part of the collection at Casa Shelter Half.

She was named by Domaine Home as a rapidly emerging artist to watch next to Alex Israel and James Franco, and The Guardian UK included her in their Artists to watch in 2016. NPR compared her music to Patti Smith, the Flat Duo Jets and Cat Power and Vice compared her music to early Dylan. She has been featured as the cover feature of La Motocyclette (New York), on Songs We Love at NPR, as well as in Paper Sea (Australia) for both her art and music in their print magazine as well as online, Stereogum, Impose, Tiny Atlas, Best Magazine, C Magazine, Domaine Home, Anyone Girl (New Zealand), My Chameleon (France), La Mignonette (France), Velvet Dust, Hullabaloo, The Revue, Consequence of Sound, Range Magazine, and WTF Digital. Lifestyle and Fashion brands call on her for her rocknroll feminine aesthetic, distinguished appreciation for quality recording, moto, and surf gear as well as her discerning classic sense of style. Her fashion campaigns include Booker New York, Omnia X Nihilo, Summer Bummer CA, Grifters, Amuse, First Base Australia, Coach, and Thrills Co. Australia.
