Colorful Stained Glass Triangles
by Debbie Bean
These original lead stained glass triangles are carefully made out of individually cut brightly colored stained glass pieces that were joined by soldering lead came strips and framed in zinc for sturdiness.
Due to the nature of the glass used in creating these triangles, when hung in a sunny place or near a light source, they create colorful shadows. These versatile triangles are perfect for your home year round by hanging in your window or on the wall with the attached hemp cord or on your Christmas tree as an ornament.

Debbie Bean is a Los Angeles based artist currently living in the foothills of the Angeles National Forest with her husband, dog, and three cats. Debbie works in both traditional leadwork and copper foiling techniques as well as mosaics to create her dynamic line of stained glass home goods and jewelry. A combined love of geometric architectural elements and organically forming earthen treasures influences her designs resulting in colorful and unique handmade pieces. Her work is the embodiment of functional art, meant to be organic in nature and not perfect factory reproductions. Due to the handmade nature of the items, no two pieces will ever be identical.
A photographer originally by trade, Debbie spent her time in New York photographing the emerging Brooklyn music scene. Between photo shoots, she rediscovered her love for painting and would stay up at night drawing on the floor of her studio apartment, her dog slumbering by her side. She returned to Los Angeles, only to find herself on the road with the Akron/Family. Afterwards, she quickly found herself apprenticing under a master Tibetan monk, studying the ancient tradition of Tibetan Painting. Secluded up in the Tehachapi mountains, she worked alongside him painting and studying his techniques.
Always looking for new experiences and adventure, Debbie headed back out on the road for the better portion of a year working and traveling with the Stone Temple Pilots. She went on to spend the next few years working behind the scenes in the art world and in 2014 returned to her childhood love of Stained Glass.
