Dame Collection Rice Bowl

Add To Cart

These Dame collection diner style rice bowls are thrown on the potters wheel before being trimmed, dried out slowly for 5 days and then put into their first firing called the “bisque” firing. These bowls are then stamped and waxed, so that the bottom of the bowl will resist the glaze, making it easier to clean the foot before placing the the piece into the glaze kiln for its final firing.

Once removed from the hot kiln, the bowls are quality controlled and the feet of every piece sanded. These rice bowls are great for everyday use, microwave and dishwasher safe, they are durable, and beautiful. House warming gifts, engagement gifts, or for anyone who appreciates good design and high quality handmade craftsmanship.

Every piece is made to order in Robert Siegel's Los Angeles studio.
